Please provide a two-page essay addressing the following questions:

  1. Why are you applying to MPLI? What approaches, skills and talents do you seek to develop in this program?
  2. Identify three major challenges/issues facing minority communities. What insights, actions and recommendations do you suggest and why? What skills or experiences may help you address these issues?

Participation agreement

By submitting this application, I agree to commit the time required and offer my full participation and engagement if I am selected to participate in the Minority Political Leadership Institute.

  1. I understand and acknowledge that tuition for the Minority Political Leadership Institute is $1,750. A $250 non-refundable application deposit is due at time of application submission. The application deposit will be applied toward the total tuition. The remaining $1,500 is due prior to the start of the program.
  2. I understand and acknowledge that my tuition is non-refundable once I am accepted.
