2017 Projects

The RAMS * RESOURCES project seeks to meet the needs of our students by providing them with an environment that encourages their well-being, and connecting struggling students with the resources needed to succeed in their academic career at VCU. The RAMS * RESOURCES project will help reduce the detrimental impact of the number-one problem affecting students’ academic performance: stress. We propose to accomplish this mission by creating an easy to navigate online platform that presents the available resources in one convenient website to educate faculty on the resources available to identify the warning signs of stress. This platform will work to educate faculty, specifically targeting new faculty through New Faculty Orientation, about the available resources to students. By reaching faculty, we create a sustainable team of resources who have access to and influence on students creating a more efficient infrastructure.
