Elizabeth P. Marlowe, Ph.D.
Elizabeth P. Marlowe, Ph.D., Assistant Director, provides administrative leadership for the institute’s programs and outreach. She is responsible for organizational leadership, program planning and implementation, as well as community and alumni engagement.
Prior to joining the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute, Marlowe served as Education Director for the Practice of Clinical Medicine course at the VCU School of Medicine. Before coming to VCU, she worked in human resources for a global health nonprofit.
Marlowe is a proud alumna of GEHLI’s 2019 VCU Leadership Development Program. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in education and Master of Education in adult education and human resource development from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Virginia. Her research interests include professional identity development.
