SMB

The Supervisors and Managers Bootcamp (SMB) is a five-day program that includes essential skills for any new or experienced supervisor, manager, or project manager. The Bootcamp is a highly interactive sequence of topics, tips, and tools to develop and sharpen leadership skills. Participants leave armed with knowledge and confidence in their ability to solve some of the challenges that come with supervising others.

Institute Objectives

Participants will focus on a variety of topics, including

  • Managing and Building Teams
  • Delegating Effectively
  • Coaching and Mentoring for Success and for Growth
  • Managing Change

The program addresses the unique challenges of a public service setting and is open to local, state, and federal employees. Learning occurs in a safe and encouraging environment in which the instructors facilitate active involvement by participants.

This program provides an excellent opportunity for professional development and networking while providing CEU's and SHRM PDC's.

Who Should Participate?

SMB is for new or experienced supervisors, managers, or project managers who are interested in managing one's performance while developing others.

Each SMB class is limited to a maximum of 32 participants. Once online registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and invoice.

Schedule and Cost

Tuition for the Supervisors and Managers Bootcamp is $1,950 for the five-day program.

Tuition includes program speaker fees and experiences, assessment, materials, and breakfast, lunch, and refreshments daily

Agencies are responsible for all other expenses incurred by participants, including travel and board. Participants will be invoiced upon acceptance to the SMB.
